Ruby Tuesday is a must for us each time we are in Branson. We are there three times each year and have adopted Ruby Tuesday as our favorite place to dine. The Salad bar is second to none.

My husband and I went here on a Saturday night during off-season. Our server was VERY friendly. My husband got their famous burger that is supposed to be the best around. He said it was really good. I got a steak, and it was cooked perfectly (which is not common unless you are at a good steakhouse). We had a very nice time and good food. My only complaint would be that the regular tables are a bit crowded together and a little shaky.

RT's has redone their menu with an obvious "back to basics" theme. They've cut way back on offerings to more where they were 3-4 years ago. Food quality has also shot back up to where it was back in the heyday of RT's! This is a VERY positive development. I also noticed the bar has Sam Adams on tap again. That also is a plus. In other words, quality is back at Ruby Tuesday's! Service at this location is adequate...or should I say competitive? Service is rarely decent anywhere anymore except for good fine dining restaurants. Hint: it doesn't take 6 servers to serve the food and drinks at a table of 12! And you are supposed to KNOW who ordered what...not run around with hot plates of food over everyone's heads hollering, "who ordered the bison burger and fries?" That is NOT how you get a 20% + tip from us! Anyway, we were very happy with the menu changes, food quality, and the return of craft beers to the tap at the bar.

"The Bar Has Gone Downhill"

We have been going here for several years as one of our "default" hangouts. You know, when you don't really know what you want. Food quality has gone downhill here a bit over the past few years. Mostly, the chicken tenders aren't nearly as big or good as they used to be. They do have excellent burgers and appetizers though. And the salad bar is always very fresh and high quality. But on our last visit a few nights ago, the bartender was a young fellow with an obvious attitude who didn't know how to make a drink to save his life. We were only there for drinks with another couple. We had to send back every drink he made. They were pure alcohol with only a splash of whatever it was mixed with. When we asked him to add coke, tonic, cranberry juice, etc. to them; he rolled his eyes at us and did so huffily. This was NOT normal for this place. But it was so bad it was worth mentioning.
