Pizza By the Chef has been tossing Branson West's favorite pies for more than 25 years!  Hand-tossed dough and flavorful sauce are both hand-made daily from scratch -- topped with always fresh, never frozen, veggies, meats, and cheeses, and then baked to pure Italian perfection in a traditional brick-lined deck oven.  A variety of pizza styles and baking methods have emerged in recent years, but Pizza By the Chef remains steadfast with tradition, serving up a pie that never fails to delight loyal diners!  Their special creations include The Ciao, The Via, and a loaded Chef's Supreme.  In addition to pizza, you'll discover incredible sub sandwiches, always prepared with fresh, made-from-scratch rolls.  Sandwiches include a Ham & Cheese, Veggie, Reuben, and a Chef's Gourmet Burger served on a toasted roll.  You can also get a filling Calzone, and pastas that include a yummy Mediterranean Pasta Bake, Spaghetti & Meatballs, and Penne Alfredo.  Gluten-free pastas, pizza crust, and sandwiches are also available.  Pizza By the Chef caters, has a great buffet, and offers a Happy Hour from 4pm to 6pm from Monday through Thursday.  When those cravings hit for pizza, and let's face it, those cravings never really go away, do they...remember that some of the best you'll ever taste is available in the lovely town that neighbors Branson, at the fabulous restaurant known as Pizza By the Chef!

"Best Pizza Ever"

We spent a couple months in this area and ate here whenever we wanted pizza. This place has the best pizza ever. The right mix of pizza spices and great cheese. The ambiance is good as is the service and friendliness of owners and wait staff. Do not miss this place if you get to Branson. Worth the drive out there. Just a short drive from Silver Dollar City.

Best pizza place I've been to for a long time. We go to Pizza by the Chef everytime we are in Branson, which is just about once a month April thru November. We always get a Chef's Supreme, toppings are huge - but all the food looks great! We never go away hungry. Family owned and operated, service is personal not like a chain restaurant. On Saturdays they have entertainment, solo or duo. I highly recommend them!

I haved dined in and also had delivery service. I have always been happy with my experience. We like the antipasta salad and the Hercules pizza. I enjoyed the family atmosphere.

"Food good BUT....WILL NEVER GO BACK"

While the food was good, but I will NEVER go back. We waited over 1 hour to receive food. While I do understand that their cooking process takes a long time, usually when you go to a restaurant, you should receive your food in the order that you arrive. We watched several groups of people walk in after us, place their order, receive their order, eat their food, pay and walk out way before we ever received our food. We waited over an hour for 3 simple pizzas. When I contacted the owner the next day, he just said sorry and they had a busy night. He also stated that the waitresses that were working were actually cooks and didn’t really know what they were doing….I would like to add that they did try very hard. The owner did not offer for us to come back and give the restaurant another chance...which I would think that most restaurant owners would try to do. Like I said, the food was good, but I will NEVER go back and I will make sure that I let people know about the experience.

"Excellent Sandwich"

Great sandwiches. Their specials looked really good, but I am hooked on the turkey sandwich so this is all I ever order. The bread is homemade. Comes with pickles and chips.
