Peppercorn's Steak & Chicken Buffet - CLOSED

The service was terrible, server was very rude. The food was cold after the 45 minutes it took to be served. We never had our drinks refilled. The A/C was not working, so it was terribly hot. I will never set foot in this place again. Also, management offered no apologies or compensation for our terrible experience.

My family and I went to Branson July of 2010 had a wonderful time. But we were very misslead by a advertisement to this restaurant. this was one of the worst eating expierences I have every had. very unclean and staff very unfriendly.The steak was very tuff they didn't have enough plates out for the buffet.Flies all inside the building.

This is also one of Branson's worst resturaunts. The food no mater what was brought to the table sucked . the prices a rip off for suck crappy food. i wish this one would go bankrupt so we would get a chance at something better.

Not air conditioned and they tried to seat us in a table that was in direct sunlight. Nearby customer told us that the buffet was lousey. The waitress was rude and was not accomodating.

We were told this was one of the best buffets in Branson, even in print. What a waste of money!!! The food, what there was of it, was dried out and skimmed over because it had been sitting there for who knows how long! For the price, Golden Corral & Shoney's is by far better with no question!! We should have asked for our money back, but didn't want to make a scene to our company we had invited to go there with us. The atmosphere and service were ok, but I'd be embarassed to serve such a meal to anyone!!! Jean

this place was terrible. I would have rather had McDonalds also. Don't be fooled by the ads this place was horrible. The service was terrible the food was even worse. I would not recommend this resturant to anyone.

We ate here on a bus trip to see Noak's Ark We had all great food. they ran out of chicken but had more right away. I recommend you give this place a try. Waitress were always there and deserts were fresh

The buffet was the worst I have ever tried to eat. Meat was dried out - some of the food was sour...looked like it had been on there for a week. Very overpriced for what you got. Better just go to McDonald's.

Was unsure at first, given what I had heard in the past. Should have gone with that first instinct. Food was terrible. Floor, seats, bathrooms not clean. Don't know what else to say other than don't waste your money here.

I wish I had read the last review and I'd not have suffered the same. I picked this restaurant because of the advertisements I saw. The ads looked great--said they were the best at restaurant.com (they're not even listed there). Very deceptive advertising. First we were seated right behind the entertainer. He was really good, actually. He deserves to be at a better place. They seated us in a booth, only upon our request, and on the ledge of the booth were the speakers for the singer. They hang back over the booth about 4 inches. It was very loud, but I was more concerned they'd fall down on our son. The waitress advised us to move because of the noise. I don't think they see the potential danger with the large speakers hanging over a booth. I went to get food for our son. When I got up to the food bar, the chicken looked dry, the mashed potatoes were definitely instant, the brown gravy was lumpy. Nothing was hot or cold. The cucumbers had obviously been frozen. They say they are a bakery, but the dinner rolls were hard...even when they brought out new ones. The best thing on the menu was the cobblers. They were just okay. Kids over 2 years are charged $7.99, and he hardly ate anything. Our bill was $38 and that was with $3 off in coupons. What a waste of $$. I, too, would have prefered to eat at McDonald's, or even eating a pb&j sandwich in our room (and i"m not a fan of that). I'd advise anyone not to waste your money at this place. The casher (manager??) didn't even ask how it was when we paid. I guess they already know. He was as friendly as the food is good, so I didn't bother saying anything. From what I read, it would not have changed anything. When I asked for a receipt, he quickly ripped the receipt from the register and threw it on the counter, not even a thank you. We'll walk out in the future if we see something so bad!!!
