Cantina Laredo brings a slightly more upscale take on Mexican fare to Branson!  Located in beautiful Branson Landing, it enjoys an ideal spot facing scenic Lake Taneycomo -- they take advantage of the view by having ample patio seating, making it perfect for guests who want to enjoy good food, a few drinks, and an up-close vantage point for the Landing's incredible fountain show of water, lights, and fire set to music.  Cantina Laredo is also a great spot for meetings, parties, and other private events.  The substantial menu offers excellent options for lunch and dinner, and a special brunch section that includes a complimentary Mimosa or Bloody Maria with your meal.  Regardless of what entree you choose at Cantina Laredo, make sure you begin your meal with their famous Top Shelf Guacamole -- artfully prepared while you watch, this guacamole is very delicioso!  Other menu favorites include the ensaladas, fajitas, quesadillas, nachos, tamales, enchiladas, burritos, and the carne asada. And don't forget to save room for a sweet ending to your meal; try the creamy flan, or the scrumptious Mexican apple pie!  Everyone loves those "little hole in the wall" places, but when it comes time for a classier atmosphere, it's time to venture just downhill from the Historic Downtown District to Branson Landing, where you'll find the delightful and delicious Cantina Laredo!

"I am a local and Cantina's is where I dine!"

I live in Branson and this is a local fav. It is the best food and upscale , but the price is still relatively moderate: $10 to $20 dinner plates and $5 dollar kid meals. The service is excellent with atmosphere to accommodate any mood or lifestyle; bar, indoor seating, outdoor seating, booths, and tables. There is usually an hour wait at dinnertime.

This is a great place to go for a relaxing dinner with someone special. The service was the best we experienced in Branson( Bella deserves a raise in pay because she is that good). The food was wonderful. I had the braised pork and it melted in my mouth and the taste was fantastic. This is a must stop when you are in Branson.

Heard it was good, so we went by earlier in the day to ask about reservations. They weren't taking any more for the time we wanted (6:00). They told us to come back 30-35 minutes before when we wanted to eat and they should be able to seat us. Arrived 20 minutes before 6:00. Asked how long the wait would be. They said 30-35 min. 55 minutes later, we still hadn't been called to be seated. We left as we had tickets for a show and needed to find a place with faster service. Couldn't give a review w/o rating food, which we did not have.

I agree this is not a place for misbehaved small children. This upscale mexican dining. If you are looking for cheap tex-mex go somewhere else. The guacamole made at the table is fabulous. Never had bad food here and automosphere is relaxing. The mango margharita is wonderful. You get what pay for and this is not Taco Bell! I make it a stop on every visit.

I have a photo of one of their margaritas on my phone...when my best friends are having a bad day, I can at least text them a margarita from the Cantina, and it is guaranteed to cheer them up. This place has amazing food, great service and make sure you save room for the Hot Apple Pie with the warm Brandy Butter poured all over it...seriously to die for! Some people may consider it pricey, but you know the saying, you get what you pay for...! If you want cheap Mexican fare, go to Taco Bell. This place is a fabulous dining experience to be shared with great friends. Their patio reeks of relaxation. I can't wait to go back. I never miss a stop there, while in Branson.

my wife and i have been there twice, we sat outside both times, while we were waiting for our food the 1st time i observed one of the people cleaning the table next to us, he used the peoples water they had drank out of to wash the table. the 2nd time out waiter berought our food on a big tray on his shoulder and when he got to our table he let the edge of the umbrella next to us drag across our food. to me the place should be shut down by the health dept. wont go there again

Margaritas were waaaaaay overpriced! I believe they were something like $12! Food was mediocre to say the least. Bland. No taste. Too upscale for kids. We had our granddaughter with us & she wasn't quite 2 years old & she just wasn't happy & I felt like everyone was staring at us. No children's menu, that I know of. This place was highly recommended by my husband's niece. Not worth your time. Perhaps she liked it so much was because her in-laws flipped the bill? Pretty interior, snobby waitstaff, so-so food. Take my advice & go to the little, tiny Mexican restaurant that's been around for a long time. Can't remember the name, but it is located before you get to Branson Landing. My daughter ate there with her daughter(same child listed above)& got better service, great food~and LOTS of it~for about $10! Granddaughter was muuuuuch happier there! Friendly folks who KNOW how to make Mexican food!

Cantina Laredo is certainly the fanciest Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. With the white linen tablecloths and stemmed water glasses, this is not your average taco joint, but that doesn't mean the food isn't good. As the decor would suggest, however, the dishes are a bit more expensive than typical Mexican cuisine. The taco salad is really tasty — I always love those edible tortilla bowls. I've also had the tortilla soup, which was quite good as well. The service at Cantina Laredo has always been adequate, and someday when I feel like splurging, I will order the made-in-front-of-you guacamole!
