"Love the lobster!!"

Reviewed
Every year when we vacation in Branson we come here. We have never had a bad experience. Only complaint this time is they are now like Starvin Marvins where they charge by the pound for the crab legs but we mainly go for the lobster anyways. Call ahead to check on pricing. Last year for just the buffet and lobster was $45 a person and this year we paid $39.95 a person. They constantly change their pricing. Overall the food was amazing and totally worth going.

"Thought we would give it a chance"

Reviewed
We ate here for breakfast over memorial day weekend. We asked a couple as they were leaving if the food was good. We should have listened. The bacon was so hard we couldn't eat it, the French toast sticks we're burnt so bad they were completely black and crispy, diet Pepsi Taste like Dr pepper, Dr pepper was watered down, fruit was mushy. We kept trying to find something that was edible. When the waiter brought us the check for 54.00 we had enough. I asked for the manager, when he approached the table he started with there's nothing wrong with my food. He did offer half price for the meal. But the best part is when we were leaving the waiter (which I left a 10% tip) called us white trash, and said people like us make him sick. People like us that expect to be able to actually eat the food. I will never eat here again

"Very low quailty"

Reviewed
Service was great. But the crab and lobster were of very low quality, especially the lobster. The lobster meat was very rubbery and firm. The crab meat was okay but it wasnt great. I definitly wouldnt recommend spending 70 bucks for such low quality food. Despite the low quality it is still unlimited crab and lobster nonetheless, just dont expect the lobster to have any quality to it whatsoever.

"It's a sad day .."

Reviewed
I live in lebanon and used to drive down to starving Marvin for all you can eat crab legs .. they then quit doing all you can eat.. so I went over to whipper snapper .. their price went up but was still worth the drive .. Then tonight went back to get my treat of crab legs and the waiter said we sorta changed things.. my experience is that when people change things it is always for the worse.. and yep you guessed it he said you can get buffet for x amount.. ad all you can eat crab for x amount extra ... or add crab and lobster for a whopping 59.00 ... wow what an increase from just the last time I was there a couple months ago..i don't mind paying the extra but when the price goes up and the quality goes down that is where I have a problem .. the crab legs were terrible ..i used to give them a 9 or 10 rating but today they got a 1 maybe 2 if lucky .. you should not have to wrestle the crab to get it out of the shell.. and the lobster .. well i will say small .. I have been a regular of the all you can eat crab legs at both locations for a long long time but after tonight I will have to try another place a fried wanted to go .. but I said no .. flat creek in cape fair has all you can eat so they will be my next place to try. Good luck to all and remember..change is not always good .. Hungry one ...steve

"For a tourist town, good buffet"

Reviewed
$59 for full buffet per person.. to be in a tourist town the price is right on track. The amount of food is awesome. Olga was an awesome server! Great flavor! So glad we ignored the bad reviews and came! We will be back!

"I LIKE IT!"

All you can eat lobster, crab legs, crawfish, and lots of other seafood included. The price went up to 50 bucks for the full buffet this year. What a deal. Worth every penny. Definitely NOT a fancy place. Great service, not much atmosphere, clean. You never have to wait for anything. Well stocked seafood bins that can be accessed from two sides. No lines to retard your progress. I don't know how they do it for the price. On a one to ten scale, the lobster was about a 6. Not bad for being way out here in the mid-west. We live two hours away and go to WHIPPERSNAPPERS on an average of six times per year. I am a retired lobster fisherman from Maine which would no doubt account for my rating their lobsters as a mere six.

"Food was a number 1! Unacceptable!"

This was the First time eating at the Whipper Snapper in Branson and that is the worst restaurant I ever ate at! The food was all fried except for one item, the salad bar had a little lettuce and cherry tomatoes! All in all if your ever in Branson don't eat there! They are pricey and so not with the money!

"Excellent crab legs and very good lobsters."

Reviewed
The crab legs were excellent and the lobsters were very good. The service was excellent and very friendly.

"MADE US SICK!!!!!"

Reviewed
The buffet was 40$ of course the price was not posted on the online menus. We opted not to eat the Lobster and crablegs so we paid 20$ for the buffet and 3$ for each drink, the buffet was tasteless and some items the waitress couldn't even tell us what it was. We stayed because we were with a party of 6. When we left we saw a driver in a pickup truck offloading shrimp, fish and crawfish off the back of the truck in 90 degree heat. 4 of the six of us have been sick all night and all the next day. SAVE YOUR MONEY$$$$$$$$$

"Very sad"

The food was awful. I asked a worker what something was on the buffet and they couldn't tell me. The food tasted awful. This was a learning experience. We will never eat at this place again.
