Gettin' Basted is relatively new to Branson, but it's already rackin' up the BBQ competition honors!  Starting with a simple food truck, then finding a temporary home in the Starlite Theatre, they've now moved into a more spacious permanent home on Branson's Strip.  They excel at cookin' up beef, pork, chicken, sausage, and other tasty meat treats - for true Q lovers, everything on the menu is a better-than-safe bet!  For starters, the Basted Nachos come highly recommended, and are filling enough for a meal.  Salads include the popular Burnt & Bleu Salad featuring burnt ends, bleu cheese, and "jalleiujah" jalapeno vinaigrette dressing.  Burger selections include the Moink with pulled pork, and popular sandwiches are those with names representing famous BBQ destinations, like Austin, Memphis, St. Louis, and Miami.  Sides are plentiful, including Onionpeno Straws and Pork Rinds, Premium Sides include Poblano Cream Corn Brule, and toppings include Fried Egg, Cole Slaw, and Pepperjack Sauce.  And make sure you try a Specialty Plate, like the Chicken & Waffle Waffles! Gettin' Basted took home the top prize out of 63 competing teams at the 2012 Roots 'n Blues BBQ in Columbia, Missouri, and were Grand Champions at the 2013 Rock 'n Ribs Festival in Springfield.  They also cater and offer cooking classes, perfect for both the BBQ newbie and long-time meat grillers.  Now that you're belly's growlin', head to Branson and grab a seat at Gettin' Basted!
