Dobyn's Dining Room, located in the Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks, offers one of the Branson area's most unique dining experiences!  An expansive and elegant dining hall with rustic touches of the Ozarks throughout, Dobyn's offers a menu of both the eclectic and the familiar.  This popular restaurant is operated by students of the college as part of the school's culinary program, and many of the ingredients used are sourced directly from the college itself.  A work-for-tuition four-year institution, College of the Ozarks has an operating dairy farm, greenhouses, pigs, a grist mill, and more.  Fondly dubbed "Hard Work U," the college prides itself on being almost completely self-sufficient when it comes to goods and services.  Serving lunch, dinner, and an unforgettable Sunday Brunch, you'll discover menu items like Pecan Crusted Chicken Salad, Pot Roast Tacos, Peach & Blackberry Salad, Smoked Meatloaf, Smoked Catfish Cakes, Ozark Hot Brown, dishes with pasta that's made in-house, and a nice variety of other savory entrees.  The famous Sunday Brunch offers hot entrees, side dishes, salads, cold cuisine, carved meats, and breakfast selections that include made-to-order waffles and omelets, and a variety of desserts.  The students also operate a bakery at Dobyn's Dining Room that includes biscotti, muffins, cookies, danish, baklava, tarts, and a nice selection of coffees.  And we can't forget the college-made ice cream; it's simply delightful and likely to ruin you for any other ice cream anywhere!  Isn't it time you enjoyed a meal in Branson that you honestly can't find in any other destination?  You'll find that meal only at Dobyn's Dining Room in the Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks!

"Beautiful Space."

If you want a nice place for a special occasion this would be the place. The food for the buffet is not what I would do again and very expensive. I loved the dinners we have had there. They have special desserts if you let them know ahead of time. Get the history and deive through this gorgeous property. Quite impressive.

"Eat there every yr"

Go to Branson every May. We always eat at the Sunday brunch for the last several years. Always been good except one time I was alittle disappointed when they wasn't refilling items. Ate there one Easter payed a little more, but it was good. Its a little pricey but my husband loves to eat there. I love the idea that the students work there to pay their schooling. There is alot to do a see there.

"Great Sunday Brunch"

Reviewed
there is always a great variety of entrees and many choices from breakfast and main courses to desserts. They have recently added the ice cream shop to the menu. Service is attentive and fast. Realizing that these are college students working their way through school, you can appreciate the effort they put in.

"We always enjoy the food and atmosphere at Dobyn's."

We travel to Branson several times a year, due to being out of state, and always stop at Dobyn's restaurant. My husband and I enjoy the atmosphere, as well as receiving excellent service from the staff. The food is usually delicious, and if there ever is a problem with our meal, they are quite accommodating and get it taken care of immediately. The only criticism that I have is..... they need more of a variety in their dinner menu, otherwise we find Dobyn's charming.

"An absolute must!"

Every time we are in Branson we make it a point to eat here. The lodge is phenomenal, the dining area spacious and inviting, the attendants happy to share their story, and ready to serve and to please the customer. What I really like is the unusual cuisine, the breads & spreads--not going to find this any-old-place. A truly one of a kind American eatery.

Took a group to Dobyn's Dining for dinner and the food was terrible. The worst thing was that the event manager was VERY unaccommodating and rude. Usually when a party is disappointed the Manager gets involved and tries to make it right, not her. Will never every go back......

"Will not go back"

Reviewed
Went to the restaurant last week pricey but nice atmosphere. Meal horrible. Meatloaf with wild boar and elk meat. Everything was barely warm and tasteless. Took it home in a doggy bag and gave it to someone who will eat anything. He took a few bites and through it away. Asked why he did not give it to the dogs, and he said that he did'nt want to make them sick.

The Fish and Chips (local fresh caught trout)is my favorite lunch item. It would be very hard to choose a favorite dessert since they are all yummy! Dobyn's is very unique because College of the Ozarks students have a part in every area of the kitchen and restaurant. Talking with the student servers and looking out the wall windows overlooking the campus makes this a memorable dining experience.
