Billy Bob's Dairyland

Billy Bob's Dairyland is a dining legend in Branson!  If you're old enough, you'll remember burger joints like this in small town America; if you're not, you've longed for a place like the ones you see on old TV shows.  Well, here it is right in the heart of the country, an honest-to-goodness throwback restaurant!  Nothing fancy on the menu here, just plain good burgers, hot dogs, a few sandwiches, and ice cream.  Billy Bob's burgers are famous here in Branson; you can get them with cheese or without, in a basket with fries, and doubled up.  There's a traditional BLT sandwich, great hot dogs - foot long or regular - and a southern staple, the Frito pie.  Sides include fries, onion rings, potato salad, and more tasty options.  Don't forget to top off your meal with soft-serve or hand-dipped ice cream, a sundae, or maybe some tasty cobbler. And the one thing that's as good as the food is the incredible customer service! Our annual holiday trip to Branson ALWAYS includes a stop at Billy Bob's. Great food, shakes - malts and atmosphere. New location is fabulous!

Every year my husband and I take two trips to Branson and every year the first stop we make, before checking into our hotel is.... Billy Bob's! We can not say enough great things about this place! Can't wait to be there in 8 days!!! Woot Woot

Great little place with fresh off the grill foods! I had to help finish off my wife's burger after finishing off my Pork Tender Basket. Milk Shake was made the old fashioned way and thick enough to eat with a spoon. Food was served quickly and hot by friendly staff. The place is on the smallish side but the fast service kept any wait time to a minimum. We'll be returning any time we're in Branson. Thanks.

last year we were told to eat here so we did. First they served my spouse but forgot my order. After waiting forever I finally got my burger. Not what I ordered but by this time I was starving so tried to eat it. One bite in I found a big long hair in it. I almost threw up. Our waitress never came back after taking our order. Another waitress took back the sandwich. I could not and would not eat a burger with a hair in it. When we got the bill to go get me something to eat someplace else they charged for my burger!!! Worst food, worst service, filthy, and way over priced. Then to charge for a burger with a hair in it, Even the waitress who we called to show the hair was disgusted but said there was nothing she could do. Never again. We will be in Branson again in less than 2 weeks but won't go near the place.

I hadn't been her for about a year or so. I'm not a local but own property & am in Branson a LOT. This place used to be one of the most reasonably priced places in town to grab lunch. Not anymore! I took my 8 year old granddaughter yesterday & she ordered the hot dog basket-no bun & chocolate milk. I ordered the cheeseburger basket & water. Roughly $22!!!!!!! I didn't realize when we were ordering that it was going to be that much, even tho I looked right at the prices! The food is slipping. My burger was dry. They don't ask how you want it prepared. So, it was well-done. The fries were not 'golden brown'. Could have stayed down a little longer. They make pretty much everything fresh, yet use frozen, crinkly fries...ick. The chocolate milk was $2! Given...the cup WAS good size, but STILL! I left a $2 tip, which they share(don't like that...you don't have anything to do with serving me & yet you get to share what I give? Sooo...with tip, I spent upwards of $24+! Nope. Never again. I almost went to Landry's for an appetizer(Oyster Bar Trash...YUM!)& Mac&Cheese for my granddaughter(which this place didn't have)& I would have spent just a bit more & been so much happier! Will NOT be going back. Ever.

My family and I come to Branson quite often and we just this summer discovered this quaint little diner next to a gas station on highway 76 (the strip). Billy Bob's my friends is a 5 star restaurant (but go in your jean shorts and flip flops, its a come as you are place). The food is amazing. Their burgers are pure wonder and they are big. Their fried pies are delicious, there hot dogs are even amazing. We never go to Branson without eating at Billy Bob's. Their friendly and down to earth employees make the visit even better. I didn't want to share my eatery find but I just have to. If you haven't been to Billy Bob's you really must go. Go hungry!
