"Cod in place of catfish????"
Wanted Catfish before going back to our cabin... called ahead, ordered 2 catfish plates. Almost 40.00!!! Outrageous... really. Get back to our cabin and whats in my plate?? 2 huge pieces of cod fillets. NOT catfish whatsoever. Fries were not good at all. Coleslaw was not tasty either. Will never eat here again. Ever.

"Great Place to eat"
Me and my wife ate here the 4th of July week and it was fantastic! We own a BBQ restaurant in Alabama and also have a buffet. It's a challenge sometimes to keep it full and the temp right, so kuddo's to the folks here because everything was awesome. The grilled fish, fried fish, frog legs, everything was great. We will be back the week of Christmas and will definitely try the breakfast this time :)

Love seafood, but disappointed. clams tough, cold. frog legs OK. shrimp ok, but cold. ribs tough, any ribs I have had practically fall off of the bone, not these. I watched the kitchen staff bring more refills of the food trays, just dumped the New on top of the old. You don't know how long the food had been there.

"Do not consider eating there"
The hostess was outside smoking and the only friendly face. We were seated at a table that almost reached my neck. The cushions were so broken down. When I asked jokingly if they had a shorter table the waitress glared at me. They wanted to charge us for the one year old for the buffet. We ended up paying 10.00 for 3 drinks and left. The mgr and waitress were rude and ignorant of any customer service. This was at 6:00 pm and they were not busy. I guess they want a certain clientele One who will pay 35.00 for a buffet that liked dried out and very old

"We enjoy the breakfast buffet."
The breakfast buffet is always good. Service is average, but overall it's a good place for breakfast.

We stopped by for an anniversary dinner.= in February. Waited forever to get seated; was mostly ignored. Walking by the buffet, a lot of it was nearly empty. Finally got to seat, no service. FINALLY ordered - and was told the crab legs were an EXTRA $10 on top of the $20 - $25 Seafood Buffet advertised price. Really?? So we left and found somewhere else to eat. Felt the advertising was a bait-and-switch. Will go to our standard Joe's Crab Shack from now on. Or maybe Landry's.

"would not go back again"
my husband had the BLT sandwich, Fries were okay, no condiments for the sandwich, really dry. I had baked ham, it was a little tough, sweet potatoes were straight out of a can, no seasoning at all, just blah. Also had an order of onion rings, they were tasteless, just dipped in flour and fried. yuck!! And to top it off the food was way over priced. Will never go to a Starvin Marvin restaurant again.
