"Great place to eat and enjoy listening to your server."

Mel's Hard Luck Diner is great place! The menu has a wide variety of entrees and food is great. Really fun listening to the servers and watching them enter act with customers. One might be inclined to call it a (lunch) dinner show.

Every visit to Branson (6 to 10 times a year), Mel's is required stop regardless if we are there for a weekend or for a week or more. The food is excellent, the service is fantastic and the music is the best in town.

This was our first time visiting Mel's and what made us decide to go here were the reviews on this website and that it was near the Christmas store. We had such a good time with the singing servers and the food was excellent! The portion size is large and you get a lot of bang for your buck. For example, you can get a burger combo for $13.99 that includes a burger, fries, and shake that you will be hard pressed to finish! Our server Sonya was wonderful! You get a meal and a show all in one. We will definitely be back.

Everyone was very friendly, food was ver good, and the singing servers were amazing. We bought two double CDs (Matt's) and a single CD by Kelly. Also, the shop had nice gifts. We would definitely stop again!

The food is ok, but it is not a place to go if you are with a group. Very unfriendly and down right rude to groups. I am talking about management & hostess. Will not go back!
