Loved it? Hated it? Or was it just mediocre?
You share your opinions every day with friends, family, and co-workers. Why not share it with DineBranson.com visitors? Your review could help thousands of residents and visitors of the Branson, Missouri area! By sharing your dining experience you can make a difference in helping direct others to a great little restaurant they wouldn't have considered otherwise or help them to avoid a not-so-memorable experience.

You may submit only one review per restaurant. However, should you re-visit that restaurant and your opinion change, you may submit another review. Multiple reviews submitted by the same user for the same restaurant will only be accepted if there is a change in the user's opinion of that restaurant, and will be posted at the sole discretion of the DineBranson.com administrative staff.

To help you make your review beneficial to readers, we've created a few guidelines and tips for you to follow:

  • Try to stay focused on the topic and keep your review a reasonable length. Your review doesn't need to be as long as our "Acceptable" sample review. A review of 100 to 150 words is sufficient. Just try to touch on the main points of a review (food, service, atmosphere, and value) and give explanations.
  • When submitting a review for a restaurant, make sure it is the same restaurant location that you actually visited. For example, don't review Branson's Cracker Barrel just because you once went to a Cracker Barrel in some other area. This includes restaurants with more than one location in the Branson area. Make sure you are reviewing the restaurant with the same address as the restaurant location you visited.
  • Do not include personal information about the owner/employees. This includes employees' names. If you wish to praise or complain about a specific employee, then let the restaurant's manager know. Reviews with names of restaurant employees will either be edited or rejected.
  • Do not use profanity or other questionable content. Your review will be rejected if you do.
  • Do not type your review in all CAPS. Reviews submitted in all caps will be rejected. We will not take the time to edit them.
  • Please use proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure. If we can't understand or read your review, others will not be able to either. See example reviews.
Be honest, but don't be crude. Try to convey what your particular experience was like. Tell things you liked and didn't like. Be objective. Here are some examples of things to point out in your review. Try to touch on as many as possible:
  • Did the food taste great? What did you like about it? Was there anything you disliked about the food?
  • How was the service? Were you seated quickly? Was the wait staff attentive and friendly?
  • What was the atmosphere like? The décor? The music (if any)? Were the tables spaced well enough apart to allow proper room?
  • Did the menu have a good selection or does the restaurant specialize in a specific type of cuisine?
  • Did you feel like you got your money's worth? Consider food quality, portion size, and overall experience-especially if this was a fine dining establishment.
  • Were you satisfied, thrilled, or disappointed with your dining experience and why?
  • Would you return to this restaurant again?
  • Would you recommend it to others?
If your experience was wonderful, be sure to tell why, just like you would if you were telling a friend about it. Or if your experience was not-so-good, for example, you weren't seated quickly or the servers didn't come back to refill your drinks; take into consideration whether or not they were packed with customers at that time, and if so tell us. If two tour buses just came in, then it's understandable that the wait staff could be spread thin. Be fair. Don't just vent and say the service was terrible. Explain. Also if there were few customers, but you still got poor service, tell us that as well. The same goes for if the service was outstanding. Don't just say the service was great. Tell us that the waitress was very attentive and friendly, for example.

Note:  Reviews submitted with false account information
(i.e. false email and/or name) will be rejected!

Take a moment to consider which you would find most helpful.

Less helpful review:
"I thought this place had really good seafood. I ate catfish. The service was awful. The place was packed. I may or may not go back."

* This review doesn't really tell much of anything about the food or why the reviewer liked it. It also tells nothing about the atmosphere, the value, or why the reviewer felt the service was bad.

Very helpful review:
"I liked the way the place was decorated. The nautical theme really appealed to me. The selection of seafood items was great. They had things like fried catfish and shrimp fettuccini. I ordered the catfish platter with fries and hush puppies. It tasted excellent, was plenty to eat, and was reasonably priced. The hushpuppies were moist (not dry like most places), and the catfish had a nice clean taste as opposed to the muddy tasting catfish you get at some restaurants. The fries were just like homemade with the potato skins on them. The service was a little disappointing. I had to flag down the waitress twice for a refill, and when I was ready to go I still didn't have my check, so I had to have a nearby waiter go find her to pay for my meal. They were really packed though because a tour bus had just come in. Overall it was a good experience and I plan to go back."

* This review tells about the atmosphere, food, service, and value. It tells why the food was good and that it was a good value. The review also told how the service was lacking (had to flag down waitress for refill and waiting a while for the check), and it took into consideration why the service was poor that visit (tour bus had just come in and they were short-staffed).
